Our Wood Prints are perfect for a cabin in the woods, modern apartment, or really anyone’s living room. Printed on half inch thick FSC*-certified maple your favorite snaps will be enhanced by the natural grain and beauty of the wood’s surface. We even make hanging easy with an attached floating hanger for easy wall mounting.

Will I see the grain of the wood through my photo?
Yes. The grain and other natural characteristics of the wood will show through the lighter parts of your image. If your image has a lot of white or pale colors, the grain will show through these parts. If your image is predominantly dark/black, like a photo of a night sky, you will not see the grain of the wood as clearly.
Photos are printed directly onto the wood surface without a white background. Because of this, colors can look a bit more muted than they appear on your back lit computer screen. If you are looking for something more vibrant without wood grain, we recommend Metal Prints.

How do I hang my wood prints?
All wood prints come pre-installed with a "float hanger" on the reverse. It has a hole in it for a hook or nail. Your print will not lie flat on your wall but will be mounted 1/2" from the wall in a unique "float effect". This a similar hanging mechanism as we have on the reverse of our Metal Prints, just made of wood.
We will hang the float hanger in the orientation of the print's subject. If you have something a bit more abstract that you are worried will be hung in the wrong orientation, please email us at hello@sps.io with your photo attached in the proper orientation so we can pass a note on to production.
